music video monday ~ 1

This is as good a place to start as any.
I still watch music videos. I watch them because I like all kinds of music and because the videos can be little pockets of experimental visual art. I also watch music videos when I am trying to get my own creativity flowing. Often, I share the amazing videos I find with friends and family. Now, each Monday, I plan to share a new video with you because, as they say, sharing is caring. I hope each video will serve as a spark for your own creative endeavors.
Today's music video is from Joshua Idehen. The song is called "Mum Does the Washing." Or maybe it's not a song. Maybe it's a poem set to music. Either way, it's weird in the best sense of that word. The lyrics had me laughing and the beat stuck with me after the video ended. Be sure to stick around for the dance sequence at the end. I hope you enjoy. I did.

indoor animal is curated by a human: Tim Papciak. On Mondays, he shares one link to one music video to help spark creativity in other creative types. On Thursdays, he recommends a book, movie, show, art piece, or link to some dusty corner of the internet that he believes either 1.) adds to the human experience, or 2.) serves as a coping mechanism in the year 2025. Note: this is not, and never will be, self-help content.
