music video monday ~ 13

For the 13th video – lucky number 13 – I figured I'd lean into something darker, something on the verge of gothic. MGMT delivered such fare in late-2017 with the "Little Dark Age" video, a video I did not expect from MGMT at the time. I find the visuals interesting, and quite comical.

The cut to the above green face on the "oh-oh" lyric and the crack of the whip on beat later in the video seal it for me: they're even having fun. Maybe that's the point of creation. Hmm... I'm gonna go mull on that.

indoor animal is curated by a human: Tim Papciak. On Mondays, he shares one link to one music video to help spark creativity in himself and in other creative types. On Thursdays, he recommends a book, movie, show, art piece, or link to some dusty corner of the internet that he believes either 1.) adds to the human experience, or 2.) serves as a coping mechanism in the year 2025. Note: this is not, and never will be, self-help content.
