music video monday ~ 23
Can I feel another way? / Or are less and more the same?

I refer to Bon Iver as morning music* because I can reliably throw it on at the beginning of the day as I wake up and it will ease me into my creative mind without awakening other feelings that may distract me. The latest album SABLE, fABLE by Bon Iver, aka Justin Vernon, really impressed me. So, as an insufferable millennial, I bought it on vinyl. This video, directed by Isaac Gale, plays with rear projection, among other things, and devolves into the abstract, which I always enjoy. Peel the onion.

Bon Iver - "There’s A Rhythmn / Au Revoir" (Dir: Isaac Gale)

Seeing Justin Vernon always delights me for an additional reason: it reminds me of the skit on SNL where Justin Timberlake plays him.

There's another chance to show / No need to crow no more

So today, I will share a bonus video just for laughs:

*Not sure if the term "morning music" has already been coined, but if not, I claim it.

indoor animal is curated by a human: Tim Papciak. On Mondays, he shares one link to one music video to help spark creativity in himself and in other creative types. On Thursdays, he recommends a book, movie, show, art piece, or link to some dusty corner of the internet that he believes either 1.) adds to the human experience, or 2.) serves as a coping mechanism in the year 2025. Note: this is not, and never will be, self-help content.
