I lived in Manhattan for 1 month. Occupy Wall Street was happening and Banksy was there doing a monthlong project.

I walked around town, read and wrote and listened to music, and learned who Thomas Merton was. When I hear any song by Cat Power, I think about those days. Cool story, right?
